Christmas is coming to Watford Town Centre! The commencement of the festive season will be marked by the return of ‘Winterfest’, a completely free event on Saturday 15 November from 2:00pm – 6:00pm.
Winterfest takes over The Parade with a magical mix of festive fun for all ages. Expect a vibrant community atmosphere filled with free activities and a joyful Christmas spirit. Highlights include:
- Free funfair rides such as the Rodeo Reindeer, Giant Snow Globe, Christmas Carousel, Pudding Shy, Penguin Skittles, and more.
- A Christmas-themed Watford Market offering seasonal treats and gifts.
- Live entertainment on stage by the pond, bringing festive cheer throughout the day.
One of the day’s standout moments is the Winterfest Parade, starting at 4pm outside McDonald’s on the Lower High Street. The parade features:
- A marching band
- Costumed characters
- Local community groups
- And of course, Santa Claus on his magical sleigh!
The parade will make its way through Watford Town Centre, finishing at the pond on The Parade.
